About Us
Our History
In 1986, Ken and Val Lamb moved their young family and two Kenworth trucks to pursue new opportunities in the fledgling Olympic Dam community. They called their new venture Olympic Dam Transport and built its reputation on hard work, commitment and integrity.
22 years on, ODT Australis has grown to an impressive fleet of prime movers, dump trucks, loaders, graders, water trucks, garbage trucks, excavators, and still the list goes on. Ken and Val’s practical, professional approach to doing business has seen ODT Australis grow into one of the major contractors at the Olympic Dam Operation.
Over two decades their local knowledge and understanding has been invaluable to a diverse range of clientele: mining, government, construction, engineering, exploration, environmental & remediation.
Feedback From Clients
"ODT Australis" is MIM Exploration’s preferred service provider for our heavy earth moving and rehabilitation programs in the Gawler Craton. Ken Lamb has always been able to supply first class, well maintained equipment at short notice and at a more than reasonable price.
"His plant operators are highly experienced and have fitted in well with our field crews. They have always been able to complete contracts which exceed our high working standards. Above all, ODT Australis have a safety policy which we found to be very comprehensive and its elements are well known and practised by its employees.
"When the need arises, we will continue to engage the services of "ODT Australis."
