Heavy Transport / Oversize Loads

ODT Australis have all the equipment and expertise you require to transport your heavy or oversized loads. Our fleet of modern, mine site compliant trucks comprises of Road Train side tippers, Water tankers, Fuel trucks, Floats 30 -100T, Extendable Drop decks & More.

For each expansion of the Olympic Dam Mining Operation, ODT has been there to help transport loads of all weights, shapes and sizes.


Civil Engineering and Works

Civil Engineering is a team of highly skilled personnel using specialised equipment to service contracts such as:

  • Civil Construction – roads, pads, tailings dams, culverts, pipe traces, containment bunds, walls, pads, pedistals etc
     
  • Demolition & decommissioning of plant & infrastructure 
  • Loading and cartage – rock, sand, clay, slurries, etc
  • Site Remediation & clean ups


    ODT Australis is a member of the CCF & DTEI Qualified.
Our project delivery systems incorporate the resources from our other divisions and incude safety management & risk assessment, estimating, planning & scheduling, cost control & reporting.

Waste Management

ODT Australis has an experienced and environmentally conscious Waste Management team.   

In addition to managing salvage yards (sorting and recovering materials) this department specialises in supplying equipment for all aspects of waste recovery.Wether its delivering skips & front lift bins for cleanup jobs and shutdowns or recovering oil & grease from underground services  ODT Australis is a leader in waste disposal & recycling:

We provide these services both on the surface and underground.

Immediate Response and Assistance

ODT Australis has a proven ability to assist in times were immediate respose is required.  With several water trucks fitted with fire-fighting water cannons, we can play a crucial supporting role with Emergency Services.

ODT was instrumental in supporting Olympic Dam Emergency Services during the Solvent Extraction fire of 2002.  The extra fire fighting capacity ODT brought to the situation played a major part in containing the fire and preventing wider damage.

Environmental

ODT is proactive in the protection and rehabilitation of environmentally sensative area's.Our team of  trained staff assist with spill containment and disposal, site remediation, and providing innovative idea's. We work closely with indigenous groups, government and mine sites to produce positive outcomes.
